The way they view ADHD is as a disease, a malady that needs to be cured.
I don't really agree. (Remember, this is just my opinion, people)
I have had ADHD all my life, and I am one of the smartest, most restrained students in my class.(Sorry that I sounded like an egotistical asshole, there) Most of the time, it has proven to be more of a blessing than a curse. Also, many intelligent and gifted figures in history have had ADHD, such as:
-Albert Einstein
-Leonardo DaVinci
-Benjamin Franklin
-Galileo
-Napoleon
-Abraham Lincoln
...and the list goes on. I'm not suggesting that people with ADHD are better than 'normal'(what a subjective term) people, but i'm just presenting a different point of view to the tone of the article. The same goes for people with ADD. I think that sometimes, so-called 'disabilities' can have their benefits.
So, to the other members of NG, I pose this question:
What's your point of view on this topic? If you have ADD or ADHD, please share your experience with this condition.

Choose a blessing behind the cursed,
Dress up your mask and rehearse,
Its the action of the idea traversed.
ADD and ADHD don't exist...
Consider it a metaphor for the continually refocused individual.
Dont think of good and bad, blessing or curse. Feel.
